ARRT-CT preferred, Radiation Badge is required (responsibility of traveler's employer, facility will not provide) How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 4 all GE. 2 in inpatient, 1 in outpatient and 1 in the ED. Outpatient location is connected to facility. Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No, just these 4 scanners. Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties CT scans, inpatient, outpatient and emergent. Experience or 'Must have' skills Working with trauma patients. (Level II facility) Average # of scans/studies per day Outpatient 12-14 a day, In house 1 machine can be used for procedures 10 patients a day for procedures on that machine. For the ED machine could average about 40 between all shifts. EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Epic. McKesson Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) GE CT machines. Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Yes always someone as a resource. Unless they were picking up overnight or weekends. Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Radiologist in-house? IN house during the day, on call after hours. Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Preferred, not required. Shifts & Scheduling Mon-Thurs, 9p-730a, minimal call Weekend Requirement Per contract Holiday Requirement In rotation. Call or Standby requirement? Response time? No Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Provided Department specific orientation 1 Week orientation. The goal is they would never be by themselves for very long and would always have a resource if they had questions.
