Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Mission Viejo, CA 92691
Start Date: November 17, 2026
Location: Mission Viejo, California
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Variable shift start times as early as 7:00 AM. Includes rotating weekend shifts, weekday and weekend call coverage (evenings and rotating weekends, 17:30 - 07:00). Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays.
Highlights:- 13-week travel assignment at a 488-bed acute care hospital
- PET/CT experience highly preferred; primary focus on PET/CT with coverage in general nuclear medicine as needed
- Average patient volume: 6-7 PET/CT scans per day and 9 general nuclear medicine studies per day including cardiacs, bone scans, renal, VQ, parathyroid, and more
- Epic charting system; experience highly preferred
- Equipment includes Siemens Symbia SPECT/CT, Siemens Symbia, and Siemens Biograph Horizon PET/CT (Siemens experience strongly preferred)
- May float between two nearby sister facilities; free parking provided
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active California license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB
- Preferred certifications: CT Advanced Certification, PET certification
- First-time travelers accepted
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application (maximum 7 days)
- Clean background check required
