Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Includes rotating weekend shifts, weekday and weekend call coverage, and occasional overtime. Variable shift start times as early as 7:00 AM. On-call coverage from 17:30 to 07:00. Typically 1 weekend per month, up to 3-4 weekends per 13-week contract. Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays.

Highlights:
  • 91-day travel assignment at a 488-bed acute care hospital
  • PET/CT experience highly preferred; primary shift in Nuclear Medicine with potential float to PET as needed
  • Work with state-of-the-art Siemens equipment including SYMBIA SPECT/CT and BIOGRAPH HORIZON PET/CT
  • Diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
  • Epic charting system; free parking provided
  • May float between two sister facilities in the area as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Active California license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
  • CT Advanced Certification preferred
  • PET experience highly preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
