(R)(CT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states, preferred in others - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in some states - Venipuncture certification: Preferred in some states Must-Have: - Associates degree in Radiologic Technology Description: Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment. Produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintain accurate records and files. Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Manage supply inventory. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Client is committed to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients.
