Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 8 CT rooms with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Epic charting system experience required
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience
• ARRT CT certification required
• Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment
• Active Michigan (MI) license required at time of submission; compact licenses not accepted; license required if applicable
• Two manager or supervisor references required; charge nurse references not accepted
• Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA
• Conduct head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, and trauma head studies
• Perform spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and trauma studies
• Conduct chest imaging including calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and vascular chest studies
• Perform abdomen and pelvis imaging including colorectal studies and enterography
• Work in adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings, including Level I and II trauma centers
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after one year of separation
• Traveler pairs are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, with no RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date
• Orientation modules are completed onsite; no pre-hire modules required
