Job TitleMultimodality Technologist - CT / X-Ray
LocationSummerville, SC | Acute Care / Teaching Hospital
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality diagnostic imaging in both X-Ray and CT modalities for adult inpatient and emergency populations
- Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic
- May be required to float to affiliated freestanding emergency department locations as needed based on facility demands
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimodality technologist; first-time travelers considered with 2 years of experience
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- SCRQSA certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in adult inpatient and emergency settings; familiarity with Siemens/PACS and Epic required
- Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency - the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills- Level I or Level II Trauma experience
- Pediatric imaging experience
- Orthopedic exams in both X-Ray and CT modalities
