License: South Carolina License preferred, pending license considered
Certifications: Must be registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C); BLS; ACLS (pending acceptable)
Must-Have:
Registered in both Radiography and Computed Tomography
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (pending acceptable)
Experience in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities preferred
Experience with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS highly preferred
Description:
The multimodality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT.
The technologist must effectively explain the procedures to the patient.
They must ensure patients are informed and competent in the procedures being performed.
The technologist must produce images for the interpretation or request of a licensed practitioner.
Position requires competence in handling various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The role involves producing images for multiple modalities, including abdomen, cervical, chest, and vascular studies.
Technologists are expected to maintain radiation safety protocols and adhere to isolation precautions.
Experience with 3D rendering techniques and contrast media administration is needed.
The position may involve floating to like units as necessary to meet facility needs.
Travelers must be prepared for potential assignments during hurricane season from June through November.
Compliance with all required documentation and certifications is expected prior to starting the position.
