Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience for a night shift assignment at a Level I trauma center, requiring Siemens equipment expertise.
Details
- Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting within a Level I trauma center
- Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck regions with and without contrast
- Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
- 3x12 hour night shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, covering Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and qualifications
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Siemens equipment experience required
- Cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
- Experience preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT imaging across multiple body regions with attention to contrast protocols
- Orientation occurs every Monday along with annual compliance training
- Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- Staff are expected to float to other units or campuses within the health system as needed, based on demonstrated competencies
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital to be eligible for this role
