Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment supporting ED and inpatient CT scanning, requiring ARRT CT certification and WA state licensure.

Details

  • Hospital-based CT department serving ED patients and inpatients
  • No scheduled outpatients during night shift hours
  • 3x12 night shifts, Fri-Sun, 18:00-06:30
  • Technologist works alone after midnight
  • May float within the hospital based on patient care needs
  • Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment with PACS system
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
  • ARRT CT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Active WA Radiological Technologist license required if applicable
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Skilled in 3D rendering including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
  • Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
  • Experience with vascular chest imaging (CTA, PE studies, aorta)
  • Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
  • Skilled in peripheral IV starts
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

  • Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
  • Perform CT imaging for ED and ICU patients in a fast-paced overnight environment
  • Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
  • First-time travelers with 1 year of hospital experience will be considered
  • Travel pairs accepted
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
  • Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
  • Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration
