  • Weekly Pay:$2,300 to $2,500
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
  • Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, explaining examinations, and addressing questions or concerns
  • Verify patient identification, examination orders, and relevant clinical information
  • Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Operate CT scanners safely and efficiently while following facility and manufacturer protocols
  • Select appropriate scanning parameters and protocols based on the examination requested
  • Administer contrast media as authorized and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat scans when necessary
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR and PACS
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe CT imaging environment
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
  • ARRT certification with CT credentials preferred or required by facility
  • Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist license, as applicable
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of CT anatomy, positioning, protocols, and radiation safety
  • Experience with contrast administration and patient monitoring preferred
  • Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment
