Certifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must-Have: - Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology. - Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty. - Good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics. - Must maintain continuing education and meet the required continuing education credits. - Current BLS certification required. Description: Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and the guidance of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The technician works effectively with patients and their families. Consultation with other departments is conducted as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities. The employee will demonstrate the ability to manage time and maintain a safe and clean environment.
