Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols. This role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and a solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and portable imaging.
• Conduct CT scans of various body areas, including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, and pelvis.
• Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and ensure compliance with surgical/sterile procedures.
• Utilize contrast media according to established protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
• Licensed as a general radiographer in the state.
