Description:
The facility has a total of 400 beds.
The average number of CT exams performed daily is 180.
There are 3 scanners available.
The unit is staffed with 2 techs per scanner during the day and a total of 3 techs during overnight shifts.
Types of equipment include GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners.
The documentation system used is Meditech.
The focus is on performing routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
