Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment independently across multiple radiology modalities, performing diagnostic examinations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely protocols.
  • Provide age-specific care to patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics.
  • Perform equipment quality control, accurately record database and log entries, and enter correct billing codes in the RIS.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal agencies and support readiness for inspection by regulatory bodies such as DNV and Joint Commission.
  • Maintain all required licensure and continuing education requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program required.
  • Certification by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality required.
  • Active Ohio state license required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • Must be actively and consistently working in more than one radiology modality.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 1+ years of experience in a primary radiology modality with completion of a second modality orientation.
  • Proficiency with modality-specific equipment, PACS, EMR, and RIS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems independently.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills with excellent customer service abilities.
