Job Opportunity – Radiology Technologist / Cath Lab – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:00). Weekend coverage required with 12-hour shifts during staff shortages. On-call required for weekdays and weekends with 30-minute response time for callback. One pre-approved time off period available. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

  • Work in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab with 7 rooms and daily census of 25 patients
  • Specialized focus on fluoroscopy operation within the Cath Lab setting with opportunity to scrub cases
  • Comprehensive procedural experience including neuro, vascular, cardiac, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures
  • Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
  • Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with 1:3 staff ratios
Requirements:
  • Valid Oregon Radiology Technologist license or active license from another state with commitment to obtain Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license (required to operate fluoroscopy equipment in Oregon)
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
  • Proficiency in fluoroscopy equipment operation within Cath Lab setting
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • CCI RCIS or ARRT certification required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and structural heart interventions
  • Neuro procedural experience preferred: diagnostic carotid/cerebral angiograms, stroke thrombectomy, cerebral coil embolization
  • Must be located outside 50-mile local radius or willing to accept local contract terms
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
