Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary surgical technology education preferred.

Certifications Requirements:

• NBSTSA certification strongly preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CST or Surgical Technologist.
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work dayshift hours (8am-5pm).
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Provide sterile techniques and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Document all surgical procedures accurately in accordance with facility protocols.
