Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and post cath, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring skills.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Unit, an acuity adaptable unit rather than a pure ICU
• 13-week assignment with a shift schedule of 07:00-19:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience including post cath patient care required
• CRRT experience required
• Competency in sheath pulls and PA catheters required
• Balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience a plus
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide critical care nursing services to an acuity adaptable patient population
• Subject to a facility radius rule which may affect local candidate pay rate
