This is a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position at a leading healthcare facility. The role involves floating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, pediatric Med-Surg, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. Candidates must have PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable working with pediatric patients. Previous float pool experience in NICU/PICU is highly desirable.

Key details include:

• Clinical review and auto-offer process
• 36 or 48 hours per week; block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Ability to approve 40 hours for time off; no requests for time off can be approved during the first two weeks of assignment

Required certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS. Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred. Candidates must have at least 2 years of PICU experience and the Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification (can be submitted pending, with a cost of $185). Adherence to the facility's float policy is mandatory. Candidates can submit with a pending Virginia license and must have Epic experience.
