 Job Requirements — Critical Care Float Pool RN

• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• NIHSS is a HARD STOP
• EPIC experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• IV start experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Critical care experience across multiple ICU settings preferred:
  • Neuro ICU / NCCU
  • MICU
  • SICU
  • CVICU
  • Cardiology
• Must be comfortable floating between ICUs of equivalent or lower acuity
• May float throughout the OSU organization if there is no Critical Care need
• Experience with ventilated patients, vasoactive/cardiac drips, EVD/ICP monitoring, arterial lines, central lines, dysrhythmias, and multisystem organ failure preferred
• Minimum every-other-weekend coverage
• 3x12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Ohio fingerprinting required urgently after contract signing
• RTO must be provided at submission and included in contract
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director/supervisor
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
• COVID vaccine not required
• Locals accepted at the same rate
