Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Mission Viejo, CA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic Float Pool, providing care across various ICU floors. As a critical member of the healthcare team, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires flexibility, as clinicians may be floated to different ICU floors or to lower acuity units, including telemetry. You will be expected to work a minimum of every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this requirement to meet unit needs. Additionally, you must be open to working three out of five major holidays, and scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients.
• Float between various ICU units as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting.

Requirements:

• 1 year of ICU experience required.
• First-timers accepted.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
• No on-call requirement.
• Must include RTO at the time of submission.
