    Job Description

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to support the nationwide deployment, installation, testing, and sustainment of the Tower Simulation System program. The Travel Coordinator will serve as the primary resource responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and reporting all travel activities across the program, supporting FSR teams, Lead Installers, and all other program personnel traveling to installation sites nationwide. The Travel Coordinator will ensure all travel is authorized in advance, compliant with government per diem policy, and optimized to minimize costs and maximize utilization across all four deployment waves.

    Key Responsibilities

    Travel Planning & Coordination

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program travel planning, coordination, and management activities

    • Plan, coordinate, and manage all travel activities for FSR teams, Lead Installers, and all other program personnel traveling to designated sites across the National Aerospace System

    • Ensure all travel is authorized in advance and in writing by the respective stakeholders

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive travel plan for all program personnel including:

    • Estimated number of trips required for all installations

    • Airport code for each employee''s point of origin airport

    • Travel schedules aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

    • Travel cost estimates and budget tracking

    • Coordinate travel logistics for all program personnel including:

    • Flight reservations and ticketing

    • Hotel accommodations

    • Ground transportation

    • Rental car reservations

    • Per diem calculations and reimbursement

    • Ensure all travel activities comply with government per diem policy

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma and 3-5 years of progressive travel coordination experience on complex federal government programs
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale, multi-site travel programs for geographically dispersed teams
    • Experience managing government travel compliance including per diem policy, travel authorization requirements, and expense reporting
    • Experience managing travel vendor relationships including airlines, hotels, and ground transportation providers
    • Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel for travel tracking, budget management, and reporting
    • Proficiency with travel management systems and online booking tools
    • Familiarity with government travel regulations including Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and government per diem policy
    • Must be a U.S. Person
    • Must successfully complete required background checks and security screenings
