Travel Registered Nurse RN Long-Term Care

Job Description
Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Coordinate care with physicians, CNAs, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Respond appropriately to changes in resident status and emergency situations
Educate residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and treatments
Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and state and federal regulations
Education & Certification Requirements
Active Registered Nurse RN license or eligibility for Kansas licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS certification
Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative nursing team
