Local Travel Program Specialist – Finance – 13-Week Contract
Location: Rancho Mirage, California

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Local Travel Program Specialist – Finance for a 13-week contract with one of our respected healthcare partners in Rancho Mirage, California. Job Responsibilities

  • Support daily financial and accounting operations for assigned healthcare programs
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial reports and account balances
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, perform data analysis, and track financial performance
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional departments to support operational initiatives
  • Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements for increased efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Complete additional accounting and financial projects as assigned

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in physician practice accounting
  • Experience in hospital accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to remain focused and productive despite interruptions
  • Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality financial work
