Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel opportunity in the picturesque town of Taos, NM. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and developing treatment plans.
- Perform therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and daily function.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient success.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License required
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
