Position Overview:
As a Travel ED RN, you will provide high-quality emergency care to patients experiencing acute illnesses and injuries. Youll play a critical role in stabilizing patients, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring timely and effective care in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,100 per week (based on experience)
Shift Schedule: Variable shifts depending on facility needs
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Rotation as scheduled
Job Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients with emergency medical conditions
Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and progress
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care
Utilize critical thinking to respond quickly in urgent situations
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility protocols
Education and Certification Requirements:
Active RN License (Alabama or Compact State)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
Minimum Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
