**Join Our Team as a Clinical Therapist II!** **Job Description:** - Provide clinical and therapeutic services to youth residents and their families. - Complete comprehensive social assessments to guide treatment. - Offer individual, group, and family therapy to empower residents. - Collaborate with school therapists to ensure coordinated clinical care. - Partner with Residential Counselors/Technicians to create treatment goals and strategies. - Write treatment plans in line with licensing standards alongside the Clinical Supervisor. - Conduct joint care reviews and strength and needs assessments accurately. - Maintain thorough, updated records of all client interactions. - Work closely with the residential psychiatrist to manage medication and obtain informed consent. - Document family contacts and furloughs weekly in communication/pass books. - Participate actively in staff meetings to report on residents' treatment and educate the team. - Engage in weekly clinical supervision for ongoing professional development. - Prepare discharge summaries, letters, contracts, and other necessary clinical documentation. - Develop comprehensive aftercare recommendations tailored to individual needs. - Maintain professionalism and cooperation with all staff members and programs. - Demonstrate extensive knowledge of referral and support services for clients. - Facilitate communication with sending districts, Child Study Teams, private therapists, and agencies. - Carry a pager in rotation for on-call clinical guidance and support. - Assist in preparing, coordinating, and evaluating clinical policies and procedures. - Participate in interviewing and orienting new staff members. - Mentor and oversee the clinical area of social work interns and staff, conducting performance evaluations. - Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. - Attend committee meetings and complete relevant administrative tasks such as audits. - Provide clinical training and support for direct care team members when needed. - Develop family training and groups under the direction of the Clinical Manager. - Assist other mental health professionals during emergencies and co-therapy situations. - Present at professional meetings and prepare materials for publication, if applicable. - Model high standards of behavior and adhere to organizational ethics and codes of conduct. - Perform other related duties as assigned to consistently exceed expectations of patients and colleagues. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
