Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Hermiston, Oregon.

Job Description & Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year of acute care or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Previous oncology/chemotherapy experience preferred
• Experience administering chemotherapy medications and treatments
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to changes in patient/unit conditions
• Experience with patient education, triage, counseling, supervision, and delegation preferred

SCHEDULE

• Day shift

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card
• Oncology Nursing Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Continuing education appropriate to skill level and specialty

LICENSE

• Current RN license in the State of Oregon
