Start Date: 10/26/2026
Schedule: Floating Shift 3*13s 39hours/week
- Unit: 16-bed acuity-adaptable Pediatric Cardiac Care Center
- Patient Population: Critically ill pediatric congenital cardiac patients; occasional adult congenital heart disease & PICU boarders
- Schedule:13-hour shifts – rotating Days/Nights
- Days: 6:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Nights: 6:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Approximately 50% days / 50% nights
- Typically avoid scheduling days & nights in the same week
- Hours:9 hrs/week as listed(verify—this appears inconsistent with 13-hour shifts)
- Duration:6–9 months
- Call: On-call/callback; weekends & holidays per unit needs
- Experience:2+ years Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience as an APP
- Required Licensure: Active NY RN License + NY Nurse Practitioner License, both in good standing
- Education:Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner
- Certification: Current national NP certification
- Certifications:AHA BLS + PALS
- Clinical Experience: Complex congenital heart anatomy/physiology, post-op cardiac surgery, single-ventricle physiology, open-chest management, arrhythmias, vasopressors, pacemakers, VA/VV ECMO & CRRT
- Preferred:Pediatric Acute Care NP certification
- Role: Primary covering provider; multidisciplinary critical-care management with physicians, RNs, RTs, pharmacists & other specialists
