Located in Madison, Wisconsin, this role involves providing high-quality patient care in a 49-bed inpatient rehab unit. The position focuses on supervising nursing staff and supporting clinical operations during night shifts, with an emphasis on patient safety and team coordination.

Job Details:

  • Location: Madison, Wisconsin
  • Position: RN - Charge Nurse
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotations
  • Required Qualifications: BLS certification; 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment; med-surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred; not currently required to float but may be in the near future to a satellite inpatient rehabilitation facility within 20 minutes
  • Additional Information: The inpatient rehabilitation hospital functions at a high acuity similar to medical-surgical units. Nurses are expected to assist CNAs and respond to call lights for patient safety. Orientation dates are scheduled throughout early 2026.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly, starting 08/18/2026
