**Join Our Compassionate Team as a Charge Nurse RN in Long Term Care!** Job Description: - Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents? - We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse RN to join our Long Term care team! - In this exciting role, you will provide essential nursing care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being through personalized care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct nursing assessments to determine residents' health status and develop effective nursing diagnoses. - Create and implement tailored care plans based on assessments, continuously evaluating responses to nursing interventions. - Coordinate outside physician visits to meet residents' medical needs efficiently. - Communicate effectively with physicians and family members to ensure comprehensive resident care. - Educate residents, families, and staff about the care plan to enhance understanding and involvement. - Uphold resident rights by promoting a choices philosophy in care provision. - Administer and document routine and emergency medications and treatments accurately as ordered, demonstrating knowledge of medications and their effects. - Ensure timely and precise documentation in clinical records to support continuity and quality of care. - Implement safety and infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff. - Act as the primary contact person during assigned shifts and effectively supervise nursing assistants to ensure compliance with care plans. - Demonstrate proficiency in IV therapy, including initiating IVs and managing central lines and catheters. **Additional Information:** - Varied day and evening shifts available. - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. - Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, and relevant Nursing Certifications. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
