Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: - Minimum of 5 years total CST experience - 2+ years in cardiac and vascular - 1 year CVOR experience - 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Scrub experience required - Endovascular experience (hard stop requirement) - Familiarity with general OR vascular CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement - Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing Description: Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals are accepted. RN professionals who scrub will also be considered. The schedule consists of 40 hours per week. Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation will be distributed equitably among staff members. On-call duties are included as part of the contract. Call hours will vary with each schedule. Experience with aseptic technique is essential. Candidates should be proficient in equipment documentation and charting systems, specifically EPIC. Experience with the following procedures is preferred: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty/stenting, and others as listed. Ability to handle a variety of surgical equipment is necessary. Experience in trauma settings is crucial.
