Description:
Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) scrub is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Locals are accepted.
The position involves 40 hours per week on an evening shift.
Schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts.
Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs.
Weekend rotation is distributed equitably among staff members.
Call duties will be included as part of the contract.
Call hours are distributed equitably among staff members and will vary with each schedule.
Experience in general OR, thoracic, and vascular CVOR procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc. is essential.
Knowledge of aseptic technique is necessary.
Familiarity with equipment documentation and charting systems is required.
Candidates must have skills in handling various surgical procedures and equipment, ensuring patient safety and staff compliance.
High-level disinfectant procedures and isolation precautions must be understood.
Knowledge of universal protocols and specimen handling is needed.
Candidates should be prepared for potential weekend coverage as needed.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
