There are 6 staff members, consisting of 3 RNs and 3 CSTs. All staff work the day shift. The patient ratio is 1:1. The type of equipment utilized is EMR Meditech. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have scrubbing experience. Typical procedures performed within the unit include CABG, Thoracotomy, Endo AAA, Valve Replacement, and Pacemaker placements. The best personality fit for this position is flexible, knowledgeable, and a self-starter. Floating to other areas within the OR may be required. Dress code includes wearing light blue scrubs, which will be provided. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call is required.
