Description: This position requires a Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist for a 4x10 day schedule. Regular hours are from 06:30 to 17:00. Call shifts may be scheduled from 17:00 to 06:30. The daily average surgical case volume is approximately 55. 1 to 2 weekends per month are required. Preferred experience includes CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve surgery, VATS, mediastinoscopy, and CVL support with carotid cutdowns and laser lead standby. Flexible endoscope reprocessing experience is a plus, particularly with bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, and EBUS. The ideal candidate must demonstrate singular scrub skills for cardiothoracic cases and should be willing to float to general OR as needed. A quick learner with a helpful attitude is essential. Candidates must be willing to assist with ongoing learning opportunities. References covering the past year, within the last three years, are required during the compliance process prior to starting.
