First-time travelers accepted. Shift requirements include 3x12's; blocked scheduling available. Call required. Description: This position involves working in a pediatric surgical environment. The daily average surgical case volume is approximately 6 cases. Typical cases include Cesarean sections, dilation and curettage, and tubal ligations. Non-OB high-risk cases may include conditions such as accreta or laparoscopic ectopic pregnancy. Experience in labor and delivery, sterilization, and scrub techniques is required. High-level disinfection and aseptic technique skills are mandatory. Decontamination, crash cart management, and scope/probe reprocessing experience are preferred. The patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics. Candidates must be willing to float to different units as needed. Candidates are expected to work two out of three major holidays. Two supervisor references are required prior to starting.
