Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 18:45 or 10:45 - 22:45) Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty required License: Must have state license Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT Must-Have: 1. CVOR case experience in cardiac and vascular surgeries. 2. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex surgical procedures. 3. Experience with Epic/Excellian charting system preferred. Description: Position focuses on serving as a CVOR Tech. Responsibilities include assisting in various cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. Required cardiac surgeries include CABG, AVR, MVRR, TVRR, and others. Vascular surgeries include endovascular and open procedures, such as AAA and endarterectomy. Experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass graft, and other related skills is essential. Total of 6 operating rooms available, including hybrid and procedural areas. Candidate must be available for up to 2 weekends per month and possible holiday call. National certification, such as NBSTSA or NCCT, is mandatory. BLS certification is required for all applicants. Candidates may float within the facility to meet staffing needs. Individuals accepted will contribute to an interdisciplinary team providing surgical services to adult and geriatric patients. The environment supports learning and professional development within surgical services. Candidates must be skilled in aseptic techniques, instrument processing, and patient handling procedures. Prior experience in monitoring and assisting in surgeries is advantageous. This role is pivotal in facilitating successful surgical outcomes and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures.
