Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 18:45 and 10:45 - 22:45) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required in specialty License: Current state license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT Must-Have: - Strong experience with cardiac surgery cases - Ability to handle vascular surgery cases - Familiarity with endovascular and open vascular procedures Description: The position requires a CVOR Tech. The candidate will assist in cardiac surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, TVRR, and aortic aneurysm repairs. Experience in heart transplant, LVAD implantation, and minimally invasive procedures is essential. Vascular surgery experience including endovascular and open vascular procedures is also required. Candidates must have experience with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect repair, and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft. Familiarity with Endovascular Aneurysm Repair and Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair is preferred. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in managing ECMO procedures. The unit conducts a variety of complex surgeries requiring a high level of expertise and commitment. Candidates should be available for weekend on-call shifts as needed. A strong emphasis on aseptic technique and specimen handling is expected. The role also involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. A flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands are essential for success in this role.
