Call requirement is 2-3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours on Saturday and Sunday). On-call required. Must have scrub experience. Description: Candidates must be free from tobacco usage in any form. Submissions will be canceled if there is a positive nicotine screen. Experience with adults, adolescents, and geriatrics in general and neuro surgery is required. Experience with cardiovascular cases is preferred. Floating within the facility is not required. Candidates must be able to accommodate a block schedule. Local applicants are welcome. Weekend coverage is required. Two supervisor references are required during the application process. Candidates must have experience with arteriovenous fistula repair, carotid angioplasty, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), mitral valve replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The facility operates with a total of 12 operating rooms. A strict no-tobacco policy is enforced, and candidates must be nicotine-free.
