Description: The position is for an OR Tech/Surgical Tech with experience in CVOR and general surgery. A minimum of 2 years of experience scrubbing in cardiovascular cases is required. The role consists of 3 twelve-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with occasional on-call requirements on weeknights and weekends. Day-to-day responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and documenting the use of surgical equipment. Candidates must be able to scrub the following cardiovascular cases: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Pericardial Window. Experience with additional preferred CVOR procedures will be considered a plus. General surgical experience in areas such as Endo/Laparoscopic and Thoracic is also required. On-call rotation includes one weekend per month, covering only Saturdays and until 11 PM on Sundays. All personnel are required to receive the flu vaccine unless a documented medical exemption is provided. Covid vaccination is not required for this position. The role requires freestanding OR tables, battery-operated equipment, and positioning aids. Candidates must have references from recent management or charge personnel.
