Weekend call is required on assigned Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Advanced skills needed include the ability to scrub for a variety of cardiac cases, from CABG to valve replacement. Experience with the repair of aortic dissections and TAVR is essential. Candidates should also possess skills in thoracic surgery procedures, including da Vinci assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, and mediastinal lymph node biopsy. Familiarity with ECMO procedures is necessary. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Unit-specific policies and guidelines may be shared upon request.
