Job Title: Surgical Technologist / Surgical Technician

Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, supplies, and sterile fields.

• Follow aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards.

• Perform surgical counts and report discrepancies.

• Label medications, solutions, and surgical specimens accurately.

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures.

• Set up operating rooms and ensure instruments are properly sterilized.

• Identify defective equipment and respond to surgical emergencies.

• Maintain inventory and restock operating rooms and sterile areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program, military surgical technology training, or 3+ years of prior surgical tech experience as an alternative to formal training.

• BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required.

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification listed.

• 2-3 years of experience.

• Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
