Travel Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) | OR | 13-Week Contract | 40 Guaranteed Hours
Contract: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Day Shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Requirements
- Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Current certification through NBSTSA (required)
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
- 2–3 previous travel assignments required
- Orthopedic assisting experience is required
- Neuro/Ortho experience preferred
Call Requirements
- Weekday and weekend call rotation
- Approximately:
- 1 weekday call shift per week
- 1 weekend call shift per month
- Holiday call as needed
- 20-minute response time required while on call
Additional Details
- Scrubs provided
- Block scheduling may be available based on unit needs
- Three-shift department orientation
- Travelers may float to outpatient surgery as needed
Important Submission Requirements
- Active license required at submission
- Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- Only one active application allowed within the WVU system
- Previous permanent employees must be separated for 2 years
- Previous travelers who completed a full year must also be separated for 2 years
- Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed at submission
