Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift travel position requiring ICU, general floor, and ED experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department serving inpatients and outpatients
• Provides care across ICU, general floor, and ED settings
• Minimal NICU and pediatric coverage required, primarily to support the ED
• Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment duration

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience in ICU, general floor, and ED settings required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide cardiopulmonary services following medical staff protocols and department policies
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and manage airways
• Perform ventilator management, intubations, and blood gas analysis
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
