    Responsibilities
    - Provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents under supervision, implementing and adapting treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
    - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility, including transfers and balance activities, while ensuring safety and proper body mechanics.
    - Conduct or support therapeutic interventions such as range-of-motion exercises, strengthening activities, coordination training, and energy conservation strategies.
    - Document progress notes, goals, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility policies and OT guidance; communicate changes to the supervising OT and care team.
    - Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies to maintain independence in daily activities.
    - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care planning and to support resident outcomes.

    Requirements
    - Agencies must have NM caregivers account.
    - Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
    - Travel-focused scheduling and flexibility to meet resident needs within the scope of practice for a COTA LTCA.
    - This assignment requires adherence to the supervision model and facility policies governing OT services.
