Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through individualized therapeutic interventions.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, coordination, balance, and mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximizing independence
- Adhere to all professional, regulatory, and facility standards

- Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
