Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and daily living skills
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA license in the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain one
- Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care setting
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary care setting
