Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions in alignment with established care plans
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and any changes in patient condition accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA licensure or certification in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
