Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
- Maintain COTA licensure and adhere to all applicable professional and facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- Active New Jersey state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
- Expected weekly hours of 30 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
