Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
Assist in evaluating patient functional abilities and contributing to goal development
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations
Required Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
NBCOT certification (COTA) required or in process
Ability to work day shift hours
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior clinical experience as a COTA in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting
Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
