Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving skills needed for daily living and working
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain current COTA certification and adhere to all applicable practice standards and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active Florida state license or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Florida
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, 5 days per week on a day shift
- Strong clinical documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a similar care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with a variety of patient populations and diagnoses
